Orange?

       Oh god, so much shitty shit happened last night... My dad... police... poop. My parents... suck, for lack of a better word, and time. I will not elaborate on what happened, because I don't want to write about stuff that's too personal on here. Too bad, it's a good story. ANYWAY, I'm pissed, my layout is now orange. It was supposed to be yellow and red; I don't really like orange that much. But since I added a new background image to the main text area, I slowly made things orange, lol. I dunno. I'm working on a writing project in school, so yay, I will add new things to the writing page soon. I especially like the one about my invented hermaphrodite child. Oh and I've decided to start titling my entries.

Layout. Hells yeah.

       Yay, I made a new layout. Wootelly woot. A new domain, definitely calls for a new layout. I dunno how long this one will be up for. I love the navigation, that's for sure. My boyfriend really likes it too, he says it's the best one I've had up so far... and to not change it so quickly this time. lol. It's hilarious, because I subconsciously made this layout yellow and red, because of a new shirt my lover bought me.



Hmm, and that is precisely what I'm going to say on the about page.

Joined a directory.

       Wow, this month is passing quickly, especially compared to November. I'm glad for it too.--I'm pissed. October should be the eigth month. I mentioned something like this about September. I wonder what sort of history this ordeal has. Ordeal, ha. Maybe it USED to be the eigth month...

       Something interesting: Today in poetry class our teacher told us about this place called MacDowell Colony. It's in Peterborough (I dunno, I live in NH, USA, and it's near here). Anyway, writer's apply for a chance to stay there for like 6 months, or sometimes a year. They can come and go anytime they want though, they're trapped there, lol. They get a log cabin all to themselves, and they are served everything they need. The point of this "Colony" is to allow writers to dedicate themselves 100% to their current work, without worrying about making money, paying bills, and to be completely undistracted. For example, there is an eating area, but the food can be brought right to their cabin if they're like feverishly writing away. HOW SWEET IS THAT? I don't think if I ever applied for a stay at MacDowell Colony that I would be accepted. Of course not NOW, but even when I'm older. But... I dunno, I can't help it. It's a goal.

Well... NEW DOMAIN

       Yay, the new domain is up! After much strife. Hopefully it doesn't go down like it did so many times today. All I have to left to do is update all the things I've joined, and my affie with my new address. By the way, any one can apply to be my affiliate, and if we've talked, even if it's only been a couple times, I will most likely accept you. Alright, well... Oh Yeah! Yesterday was great! I'm so pessimistic; the party was just fine, and I was all worried that it would suck. I have only slept two hours since yesterday, and I've eaten 1 and 1/2 times my weight in cake, sub, taco bell, and chocolate, hahaha. I'm jittering and crazy.. and sweaty, and hot. lol.

I added 2 new poems: So Simple, and My You, to the writing section.

       I bought a domain name yesterday: www.LaurenLace.com, of course. However, I don't have a hosting packing yet, or whatever the f. See it's my first domain, and I am confused. The problem is my mom doesn't want to buy me a hosting package for even $3.99 per month. So, now my domain name is emptily hovering around in the world wide web... Poop. I want my own bank account, because I can easily scrounge up 5 bucks per month, deposit it, etc. I dunno, I'll see what happens.

       Ugh, I have so much school work to do, but I'm supposed to go to a friend's birthday party... for 10 hours + a sleep over?!! CRAP. I dunno, I'm naturally a shy person who feels awkward around humans, because I observe the way we interact, and I usually don't like it. So we'll see how this one goes...

What a disaster! My whole site accidently got deleted. I figured out that if you create a new file in SmartFTP, and then click 'Skip' it brings back all the stuff that was on that page... I dunno it's wierd, but awesome. Still though, I started recreating some of the files before I figured that out, so the blog, heh, about lace, about me, links, and ... some stuff are different, and quite honestly not as good. I got rid of the site pet, because I don't think anyone was taking it seriously. It's still a great idea, and maybe Lace will get a new pet---when I become better at pixeling.
